A DVD to iPod Converter Explained

Are you happy with your iPod?  Would you like to do more with it than just listen to music?

If you have a DVD to iPod converter, you can actually watch your favorite movies or television shows right on your iPod - that's right, a movie at your fingertips, your favorite TV show anytime you want.

With a DVD to iPod converter, you are able to transfer your DVDs from their current format to MP4, which is the format that iPods use to play back video and sound.  And with many of the DVD to iPod converters on the market, you can even select and isolate certain segments of the DVD, such as commentary, audio, and the like, and save that separately.

This new software is typically single step conversion, meaning that you simply load the software onto your computer and then put in the DVD, and it automatically converts it to MP4 for you.  You don't need to understand software programming or anything else in order to use today's DVD to iPod converters; the click of a mouse gets you your movie or TV show in a separate file that can then be quickly downloaded to your iPod.

When selecting which DVD to iPod converter you want for your own library of titles, be sure to choose one that will allow you to pause the conversion at any time without losing the parts you've converted already.  There's no need to start over again if you must interrupt the program.  Also be sure it will allow you to isolate certain parts of the file as well.  The newer software version all offer this, so don't settle for anything less.

If you really want to get the most out of your iPod and use it for so much more than just music, then it's time to step up and invest in a DVD to iPod converter so that you can start watching your favorite movies and TV shows anytime and anywhere you want.
